All Ages, All Brass Instruments

“Music education opens doors that help children pass from school into the world around them a world of work, culture, intellectual activity, and human involvement. The future of our nation depends on providing our children with a complete education that includes music.” Gerald Ford

This 8-week virtual program is designed to make up for the many lost performance and educational opportunities brass students will face as band programs remain online during the pandemic.

The Course

  • April through May
    • 8 weeks with a week-long break for Thanksgiving
  • Weekly meeting, alternating guest artist and studio class
  • Meetings will typically be Saturdays 11am-12

The cost for this program is free, thanks to generous grants from the Waltham Cultural Council and the Franklin Cultural Council. Unaffiliated students will be asked for a cash deposit of $150, which will be returned at the completion of the program, or which can be applied toward additional lessons if so desired.
