I am proud to offer three ways to connect with me this summer that fit a variety of needs, schedules, and budgets. I will offer lessons as usual, a free brass dojo program, and a short summer workshop geared for families with brass students. Please have a look and do not hesitate to contact me with questions and concerns (as well as hopes, dreams, and ambitions)!

Lessons!

I am offering a variety of times and days for summer lessons at an accessible rate. Please contact me for additional availability.

Brass Dojo!

This summer I will be offering four FREE open sessions on Fridays in July (1, 8, 15, and 22). Simply sign up and log on! This will be an open Q&A-style “office hours” class, students are welcome to play what they’ve been practicing, ask questions, bring friends, work on district audition materials, and stay sharp on their instrument. There may be guest teachers, discussion topics, group listening, and games. This class is free, and a suggested donation is $10 per class (link in sign-up form).

Boston Brass Family Workshop

The Boston Brass Family Workshop will be a two-day event in July (final dates TBA). Students, friends, and parents are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate. Events include a didjeridoo making workshop, conducting for beginners, introduction to jazz soloing (and group jam session), and a final concert featuring Dr. Harms and several students. The event will be held at the Wayland School of Music, and there will be a heavily discounted rate for residents of Waltham thanks to a generous grant from the Waltham Community Council. Enrollment may be limited to space available. Check back for details!
